Sexy Sadie: A Staged Reading

Set in NYC in 1971, SEXY SADIE follows a young, strong-willed woman named Sadie, who has the sensibilities of an artist without the talent (or really, the support). Pushed by her overbearing family, she's thrust into a nuclear family with a musician, Ian, but must come to terms, years later, with the true reason for her unhappiness. Sadie has to find the strength to accept who she really is, or continue destroying herself and everyone around her. Rachel Pacelli is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with her BFA in Theater (Original Works). She wrote and performed a solo show, “Annarella” for NY Theater Festival’s Summerfest, and was in director Michael Mailer’s Off-Off Broadway show, “Darkness of Light” at the Chain Theater.
