Two sisters, a dog, and one (?) maid live out their lives on the bleak English moors, dreaming of love, security, and power. The arrival of a hired & hapless governess and a moor-hen set all on a strange and dangerous path. Jen Silverman’s gothic comedy lives and breathes as the perfect thinning of the veil time tale. Inspired by harvest season’s beginnings and endings; this story is one about desperation, visibility, and how the wild will always win.
